This role supports a heavy industrial manufacturing operation by safely handling, moving, and preparing materials using overhead cranes and manual methods. You will work in a flexible, hands-on position that involves measuring, drilling, cleaning, and staging materials to ensure efficient production flow.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret work orders and follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers need to be moved or delivered.
+ Drill materials and clean poles as needed, adapting to a variety of tasks in a flexible, hands-on role.
+ Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Measure materials to be sent to the burn table with precision, including measurements down to 1/16 of an inch using a tape measure.
+ Move product and scrap materials to chip bins and trash containers as needed, keeping the work area...
