The Shipping/Packing Material Handler is the frontline expert responsible for preparing, packaging, and loading outbound shipments in strict accordance with MILSTD2073 and all contractspecific packaging requirements. The incumbent will safeguard classified materiel, requiring a current DoD Secret clearance, and will manage the inventory of all shipping suppliesincluding boxes, cushioning, stretchwrap, and labeling mediaby tracking usage, conducting regular cycle counts, and generating purchase requisitions to replenish stock before shortages occur. This role blends meticulous attention to detail, compliancedriven packing practices, and proactive supplychain stewardship to ensure that every shipment leaves the facility on time, undamaged, and fully compliant with governmentmandated standards.
