Job Description

This role focuses on safely handling materials in a production environment, supporting the paint and blasting departments, and maintaining a clean and organized shop. You start with general labour tasks and receive training in the blasting department, with opportunities to develop skills in industrial painting and sandblasting.

Responsibilities

• Operate an overhead crane to safely move materials within the shop.
• Mask and tape products to prepare them for painting by the paint crew.
• Perform general shop housekeeping, including sweeping floors and emptying garbage as needed.
• Stock materials upon arrival and ensure they are stored in the appropriate locations.
• Lubricate studs and perform minor touch-up painting as required.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing products.
