We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The position offers flexible shifts, including Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm, or Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 6:00am. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production area by supplying necessary materials and handling inventory.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklifts or other equipment to load or move materials.
+ Supply the production area with needed materials from inventory.
+ Load or unload materials onto or from trailers, pallets, trays, or shelves.
+ Process required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
+ Read work orders via onboard computer and follow oral instructions to ascertain materials and products to be moved.
+ Examine materials received, verify part numbers, and check for discrepancies such as damaged shipments.
+ Implement procedures for handling discrepancies.
