Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the weaving and loom operations. The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Handler
**Location:** ALTAVISTA, VA
**Pay Range:** $16
**Shift:** Midnight to 8 a.m. or 4p.m. to Midnight
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform material handling tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working with fiberglass materials.
+ Cycle assigned looms to determine filling yarn requirements and ensure proper operation.
+ Use filling I.D. tags and list in yarn storage area to identify correct filling for each loom.
+ Transport filling yarn from staging area to looms and collect empty yarn tubes for proper disposal or reuse...
