About the role
:The Material Controller will be based at the JFD offices in Inchinnan, Glasgow and will be responsible for the scheduling of components and raw materials and the monitoring and control of stock levels on-site.
The core function of the role will be to control the flow of stock from the warehouse to the production areas, highlighting any discrepancies in stock to the relevant areas.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control stock levels including FIFO for all materials.
- Consistent and regular stock counting and stock taking activities.
- The review/update of Material Control parameters to ensure optimum stock levels are achieved.
- On-going review and improvement of material control processes/systems.
