What To Expect
Master Service Technicians act as the technical lead within the team and make technical suggestions to aid in the improvement of service center metrics. The Master Service Technician should collaborate with Field Technical Specialists (FTS) and confidently provide feedback on new and trending issues.
You need a strong technical background in diagnosing complex electromechanical systems with heavy software content and deployed in safety-critical applications is required. Continuous self-development in all diagnostic equipment and systems is expected.
At this level the Master Service Technician should be able to manage and prioritize multiple work schedules with cross department collaboration (e.g. Service, Engineering, Global Service Documentation (GSD) and others), being 'the eyes on the ground' for FTS and Service Engineering and supporting technicians within workshops.
