Job Description

The Master Planner is responsible for building, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule for a precision machining operation. This role balances customer demand, internal capacity, material availability, and shop-floor priorities to drive on-time delivery, stable workflow, and efficient resource utilization. The Master Planner works closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Shipping/Receiving to ensure work is released, sequenced, and completed to schedule, and that risks to delivery are identified early with clear mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for machined components and assemblies, translating demand into executable schedules by work center and priority.
