Mason

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by cleaning, leveling, and installing temporary structures
• Lay out patterns for building foundations using measuring tools
• Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
• Use hand or power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
• Install bricks or other materials in a predetermined pattern
• Check alignments of building components using levels or plumb bobs
• Repair any damaged structures or surfaces
• Follow safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role in the construction industry
• Knowledge of different masonry techniques and methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
