This role involves performing shipboard preservation work including painting, sanding, prepping, coating application, and cleanup aboard active Navy vessels. The position contributes directly to a major program with long-term impact on fleet readiness.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform painting, touch-ups, and preservation on shipboard structures.
+ Conduct sanding, grinding, surface prepping, masking, chipping, and cleaning.
+ Assist technicians with coating application and material handling.
+ Work aboard ships, piers, dry docks, and industrial marine environments.
+ Strictly adhere to safety protocols and NAVSEA standards.
+ Complete assignments on schedule in a high-tempo environment.
