Marine Noise and Vibration Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Noise and Vibration Engineer to join its office in Shanghai, China within the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Division.​

Mission

The Marine Noise & Vibration Engineer is responsible for evaluating and assessing noise and vibration levels on board maritime vessels. They play a critical role in ensuring that vessels comply with industry standards and regulations, enhancing and the well-being of passengers and crew members.

Key Accountabilities

1. Noise and Vibration Assessment: 

- Conduct noise and vibration measurements and assessments on board maritime vessels during sea trials and inspections.

- Collect and analyze noise and vibration data from various areas of the vessel, including engine rooms, living quarters, and common spaces.
