Job Description

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior-Level Marine Electronics Engineer with experience in System Architecture to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG)’s Ship Design Team in Washington, DC.


An ideal candidate will have prior experience developing system architecture using DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and experience with IBM Rational System Architect.


Typical Responsibilities:



  • Conduct design of electric and electronic systems, study power generation and distribution, centralized machinery monitoring and control.

    • Applying knowledge of and experience with engineering principles and techniques, to develop and evaluate moderately complex technical reports related to application of C5I systems onboard USCG ships.


  • Reviewing and evaluating the effect of new and/or modified electronics on overall system performance.
