Project Overview:
Imprement interactive google map into a wordpress with custom markers. The map illustration and all custom marker icons are already designed. We need a developer to integrate everything into WordPress so that the entire map is manageable from the admin — no code changes needed to update content.
What You'll Build
1. WordPress CMS — Full Map Management via ACF
All map elements are defined and positioned entirely from the WordPress admin. This is the core of the project.
Specifically:
- Each map element type (Tenant, Stairwell/Entrance, Parking Area, Campus Object) has its own Custom Post Type
- Every CPT includes an ACF Google Maps field so admins can drag-and-drop the marker to its correct position on a live map preview — no manual lat/lng entry
- Stairwells/Entrances are standalone CPT records with a label, icon, and map position
- Tenants are linked to a Building (CPT relationship) and to one or more Stairwells as the recommended entrance...
