About the Role

The Manufacturing Technician - Thin film Optical Coating Manufacturing is responsible for manufacturing of optical thin films deposited onto the optical elements in the WESCAM MX-series product line. Additionally, the technician will work closely with the Front-Line Operations Leadership and Engineering staff to support investigations of day‑to‑day issues that arise in the Coating production cell.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex optical schematics, ensuring precise execution of assembly, integration and testing procedures.
• Execute, inspect, clean, load coating chambers and troubleshoot complex optical components following all established manufacturing processes and procedures in alignment with AS9100 and MIL standards.
