Role - Manufacturing Quality Lead (Contract)
Location - Midlands
The Manufacturing Quality engineer is responsible for improving the quality of internal and external suppliers.
This role involves defining KPIs, planning supplier audits and inspections, handling third parties for activities on site and in factories, recording and managing findings and non-conformities, and monitoring supplier performance against quality standards.
• Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier quality performance.
Audit and Inspection Planning:
Plan and schedule supplier audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
Third-Party Management:
• Handle third parties for activities on site and in factories, including:
Selection of third-party service providers with technical expertise needed.
Definition of Request for Quotation (RfQ) packages.
Creation of Purchase Requisitions.
Budget Management and Cost Control.
