Job Summary:

Create, document, develop and implement procedures required to manufacture products and test processes.

Required Education and Experience:

  • ManufacturingEngineering Degree, Materials Engineering or Diploma from a Canadian University or College
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience in a related field (preferably in automotive)
  • Ability to perform manual related tasks (cutting, mounting, polishing test samples, and maintain test equipment)
  • Basic machining skills a plus
  • Advanced Manufacturingl testing knowledge and skills preferred
  • Experience in metallurgical testing such as hardness, Strain analysis, tensile testing, yield analysis, elongation.
  • Proficient in using X-ray equipment and handheld portable XRF analyzers
  • Solid understanding of microstructure analysis, steel grain structures, heating and cooling curves
