Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee the manufacturing aspects of a designated area or function and achieve continuous and efficient production in desired quantity and quality to meet budgeted requirement. Experience in aerospace is required.
Examples of Essential Functions:
- Exercises direct supervision over departmental supervisors to achieve production volume, cost and quality of production, and meet production schedules and delivery dates.
- Plans production schedule for the designated manufacturing area in an effort to meet the shipping schedule set by production control. Works with production control to insure parts, process sheets and raw materials are to the department for scheduled start of jobs.
