About the role

We are partnering with a leading multinational manufacturing organisation to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a small Process & Test Engineering team at their advanced automation site in Tuam.

This is a great step up opportunity for an experienced Senior/Lead Manufacturing or Process Engineer who wants to take on ownership of site level industrial strategy, automation and robotics

What you will do

•Lead a small on site Process & Test Engineering team (c. 3 engineers), acting as a hands on “player coach”

• Define and deploy the long term manufacturing and industrial strategy for the site, with a strong focus on automation, robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies

• Own industrialisation for new and existing products: processes, equipment selection, plant layout and validation of new lines

• Drive implementation and optimisation of high speed automated and robotic systems to improve safety, quality, deliv...
