Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Kent
Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and process optimisation? Our client is seeking a proactive engineer to support production by improving assembly processes, increasing efficiency and driving operational excellence across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions and visual factory documentation.
* Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and 6S projects.
* Design jigs, fixtures, tooling, shadow boards and shop floor layouts to improve productivity and workflow.
* Maintain production routings within SAP and support Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECN).
* Create KPIs, visual management boards and production performance reporting.
* Conduct root cause analysis using A3 problem-solving tech...
