Overview
Provides tooling, equipment, process design, and ability to produce reviews, Lean leadership and other technical support for manufacturing processes in the Tupelo facility.
Responsibilities Identify and implement manufacturing process improvements and upgrades where appropriate. May develop Capital Expense Requests and Proposals for submittal. Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing to meet customer deliveries. Identify and implement waste reduction solutions as part of the continuous improvement program. Participate on and implement preventive actions recommended by the Hazard Elimination Team. Lead selected Kaizen events to reduce waste and improve process flow. Conduct production/manufacturing reviews to ensure product designs are producible and cost effective. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) required.
