Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and execute solutions related to process flow within the plant by applying manufacturing engineering principles to improve efficiencies (Pareto, time studies, design experiments, problem‑solving tools, labor balancing). Perform current program feasibility studies to determine optimal processes and create machine specifications, source safe equipment and safe solutions working with cross‑functional teams internally and/or externally. Perform capacity, capability and feasibility studies to determine viability of new capital equipment purchases and assist with new product development. Take an active role in APQP, helping to develop process flow by applying Lean Manufacturing principles, PFMEAs, equipment and tooling specifications. Implement corrective actions and mistake‑proofing (poke yoke). Assist and implement engineering changes and process changes with cross‑functional teams. Develop and maintain BOMs and process routing to ensure accuracy ...
