The Manufacturing Engineer – Assembly supports and improves assembly operations in a production environment, with a strong focus on optimizing assembly lines, enhancing efficiency, and resolving production issues through hands-on engineering support on the shop floor.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct detailed time studies and analyze assembly workflows to improve line efficiency and productivity.
+ Perform motion analysis, including hand-in-motion studies, to optimize operator tasks and reduce waste.
+ Troubleshoot production and assembly issues in real time on the shop floor and implement effective corrective actions.
+ Improve line balance, throughput, and overall process flow across multiple production lines.
+ Apply structured problem-solving methods such as DMAIC and 5 Whys to identify root causes and drive sustainable solutions.
