The Company

The company is based in Consett, County Durham and specialises in the reverse engineering of rotating equipment. We service and repair all variety of pumps to blue chip customers in the UK and abroad; from multi‑stage, high pressure units to small, over‑hung end suction pumps. We are at an exciting point in our development and this is a new position in the machining team which has arisen due to considerable growth.

Job Summary

The Machinist/Horizontal Borer reports directly to the Machine Shop Supervisor, and is responsible for the production of components from drawings, utilising various methods of machining, particularly horizontal boring. CNC machining skills and experience would be an advantage. The suitable applicant must also be fully conversant in both metric and imperial measurements.
