Job Description

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will work closely with the various departments to ensure that departmental costs are under control and as per the allocated budget.


Key Responsibilities:

Cost monitoring/cost control:

  • Review departmental spends, analyse variance against budgets, identify cost inefficiencies and leakages and work with departments to have these improved

Business case analysis:

  • Prepare business case for various departmental initiatives and spends and approve/reject the proposals basis the business case. Depending on the complexity, this will involve varying degrees of excel modelling.
  • Also, for all approved cases have periodic reviews to substantiate that the case holds true post implementation

Contract/PO reviews:

  • All contracts entered by the department/company are reviewed by controllers to identify any potential financial risk and adherence to...
