Manager - Telecoms

I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Identifies technologies and solutions to support the technology road map.
• Provides subject matter expertise to related technology disciplines for collaborative projects.
• Interact with solution and technology vendors for project services and technology updates, among other engagements.
• Provides mentoring to IT Technician, Telecoms within the functional group.
• Collaborates with team members to create and develop plans and design of Telecoms Infrastructure to support new projects and enhancements.
• Leads proof of concept activities, as well as conduct design and performance assessment of customer projects.
• Performs service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
• Provides isolation, resolution, and tracking for escalated alarms and issues.
• Manages recurring problems and creates and/or implements long term solutions.
