Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Handle day-to-day polymer-related technical queries from production, quality, and marketing/sales teams.

  • Develop, modify, and support PVC and Rubber compounding formulations for cable insulation and sheathing applications

  • Lead new formulation development and customization based on customer and regulatory requirements

  • Support new product approvals, trials, and commercialization activities

  • Drive value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product performance and compliance

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams for smooth implementation of new compounds

  • Lead vendor development for polymers, additives, fillers, and other raw materials

  • Evaluate alternative raw materials and suppliers for performance, availability, and cost optimization
