Join Pet Valu as a Manager of Financial Reporting for an 18-month contract, focusing on external financial statements, IFRS compliance, and effective audit management. You will ensure accuracy and lead technical accounting initiatives every day.
This managerial role requires strong expertise in financial reporting under IFRS. You'll oversee consolidated financial statements, contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems, and manage external audit processes. Your contribution will support the development of internal controls and guidance on complex accounting issues affecting the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead quarterly and annual preparation of financial statements
• Plan and manage quarter-end and year-end processes
• Coordinate reviews and audits with external auditors
• Research and analyze new IFRS standards for compliance
