Summary of Duties

• Formulating policies and procedures, developing schedules and systems, and planning the utilization of equipment, materials and human resources to generally manage the daily operations of the department assigned
• Hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and motivating varied leadership and front line service personnel to deliver and maintain related business activities in a complex, high-paced healthcare setting.
• Leading a team of professional Environmental Services support workers and Supervisors, providing instruction on achieving the ongoing objectives of the department
• Managing human and financial resources to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective service in support of patient care and clinical services
