Manager, Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance

General Summary . The Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Manager plans, manages and supervises electrical and mechanical maintenance functions for the plant. This role works closely and collaboratively with the Chief Plant Operator and Plant Engineering Section Manager to ensure the highest reliability of all electrical and mechanical equipment and apparatuses at the facilities, under the supervision of the Plant Superintendent.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervises employees including selecting or recommending selection, training, assigning and evaluating work, counseling, disciplining, and/or termination or recommending termination
• Screens and interviews job applicants, prepares evaluations, recommends disciplinary actions, approves timesheets, discusses grievances with Shop Steward, recommends relevant training
