What the role is:

You will provide professional leadership and governance over the Army's maintenance sub-budget, ensuring fiscal discipline, transparency, and sustained operational readiness.

What you will be working on:
  • Oversee the detailed planning, execution, and monitoring of maintenance funding
  • Ensure decisions are aligned with systems criticality, readiness outcomes, and sustainment risk
  • Analyse maintenance budget submissions and conduct variance and trend analysis
  • Identify emerging funding risks and optimisation opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with financial directives and governance frameworks across all stages of the budget cycle
