The role involves evaluating product drawings, defining manufacturing processes, and preparing accurate cost estimates for machining, raw materials, and special processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret product drawings and specifications to define manufacturing requirements.
Evaluate tolerances, fit, and function to decide optimal processes.
Estimate costs for CNC machining (3/4/5-axis), turning, turnmill, and general machining.
Prepare cost analysis for special processes such as CCA, heat treatment, anodizing, painting, etc.
