Job Summary:
Responsible for the management and maintenance of general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities and financial transactions
Responsibilities:
Manages and delegates the daily tasks of direct reports in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Staff Accountants for inter-company freight and consignment.Coordinates reporting to corporate finance and auditor requirements.Formulates and administers approved accounting practices throughout the department to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations.Addresses issues with suppliers, vendors and customers.Educates processes to Planner/Buyers, Project Managers and Production Control to minimize discrepancies in accounts payable and accounts receivable modules.Reviews processes and implements improvements in transac...
