Management Analyst

Summary This position is in the VA Regional Office (VARO). The incumbent is assigned to the Benefit Eligibility Support Team and reports to the BEST Manager and to the Assistant BEST Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to provide objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative aspects of organizational operations and management. The incumbent performs a variety of substantive analytical, planning, training, evaluative, budgetary, and advisory work. Responsibilities In the position, the duties include but are not limited to: Performs a variety of complex analytical activities to evaluate, develop, advise, and promote improvement in station managerial and personnel policies, practices, methods, procedures, and organizational structures.
