The Position

: Become a Champion for Student Wellbeing: Making Connections Worker Duties and Responsibilities: Implement evidence-based mental health programs and early intervention strategies within the classroom setting.Collaborate with schools to facilitate the successful integration of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum.Empower children, youth, and families by fostering the development of skills and knowledge necessary to cultivate positive relationships within the school, home, and community environments.Facilitate access to community resources for families by providing referrals, scheduling meetings, and coordinating transportation as needed.Advocate for families by liaising with school administration and community partners to ensure appropriate support and services are received.Coordinate crisis intervention by assisting families in accessing the most appropriate services during challenging periods.
