Maintenance/Caretaker

Job Summary:The Maintenance/Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and overall functionality of Hobbs Manor, while also providing support and assistance to the senior residents who reside in the facility. Must have an understanding that interacting with seniors requires empathy and patience. Being able to provide a friendly face and a listening ear is essential.

Willing to work under the direction of the Manager of Hobbs Manor, understanding the chain of command that Hobbs Manor functions under i.e. 1) Board of Directors, 2) Manager.

Work hours are 30 hours per week with shared benefits after probationary period.

Duties include:

• Year‑year maintenance of the grounds.
• Repairs to building and equipment as determined by maintenance service requests and inspections.
• Maintenance requests to individual suites.
• Apartment preparation for contractors with move‑outs.
