**Job Description:**
The Maintenance Worker II – Grounds is a position in the Facilities Management department. The position’s work is focused on groundskeeping and the caregiver may be assigned to work in a variety of areas of focus. The Maintenance Worker II – Grounds may also have opportunities to learn general building maintenance skills in a healthcare setting.
**Schedules: Monday-Friday 7-330pm**
***Winter hours can vary from 4am-2pm for snow removal***
**Essential Functions**
+ Responsible for maintaining the appearance, condition, and safety of facility grounds, landscaping, parking areas, irrigation systems, and related equipment to meet seasonal needs.
+ Assignments may include planting, fertilizing, clipping, pruning, mowing, blowing, weeding, shoveling snow, plowing, irrigation monitoring, and applying chemical control products.
