Maintenance Technician II

Position Summary Information

Summary Performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including technical maintenance of structural, plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.

Monitor and perform carpentry maintenance tasks including routine sheetrock/drywall installation and/or repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting and texturing, door and hardware installation, and painting interior and exterior finishes, as appropriate.

Perform and assist, in non-technical maintenance, installation, and repair to buildings and equipment in construction and mechanical trades including plumbing , painting, carpentry, electrical, masonry, metal work, glazing, tile work, roofing, flooring, ventilating systems, welding, and mechanics.
