Maintenance Technician

What you’ll be doing - Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, control equipment, and mechanical systems as instructed.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to machinery and facilities in line with approved plans.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment according to schedules.
- Inspect Electrical and mechanical components and report on compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and execute repairs to minimise downtime.
- Identify maintenance needs and obtain approval prior to executing repairs or upgrades.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, callouts, and emergency maintenance situations.
- Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and equipment malfunctions immediately to management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and upgrades completed.
- Ensure maintenance areas are clean, organised, and safe at all times.
