Tasks

  • Ensure a safe work environment and enforce health and safety policies.
  • Plan and supervise mechanical maintenance activities according to the weekly schedule.
  • Assign and oversee the work of industrial mechanics and contractors.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Respond promptly to unexpected breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
  • Monitor and control costs, labor hours, and materials used.
  • Maintain accurate equipment history records in the maintenance management system (SAP).
  • Support team training and development, including mentoring apprentices.
  • Work closely with production teams to ensure job site quality and cleanliness.
  • Prepare weekly budget reports and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.
  • Perform any other duties related to the position.
