Job Description The Maintenance Planner is responsible for supervising mechanical maintenance and project work utilizing a team of internal and external resources. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repair of all plant production machinery and equipment and project and/or construction management of selected projects, as well as backup for the Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Plan and schedule maintenance activities by priority level to minimize downtime and interruptions.
Manage maintenance work orders in CMMS System
Work with Maintenance Supervisor & Maintenance Crew lead to create and maintain inventory for tools and spare parts.
Work with Inventory Supervisor on adequate inventory stock levels by ordering and receiving parts and tools.
Plan and schedule all preventative & corrective maintenance for machinery, auxiliary equipment & Building maintenance.
