Maintenance Personnel

Responsibilities

• Supervises the school cleaning staff to ensure all areas are clean and orderly
• Tidies the playground, gymnasium, and maintains school grounds regularly
• Deals with waste collection, disposal, and management of lost property
• Carries out minor repairs and coordination arrangements for larger repairs as needed
• Operates and monitors heating and lighting systems to ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are adequately lit and ventilated for safe and comfortable use by students, staff, and visitors
• Conducts regular inspections of electrical and lighting fixtures, replacing bulbs, and reporting issues requiring professional repair to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Monitors water supply and basic plumbing systems, ensuring restrooms and other water facilities are functional and clean
