Maintenance Mechanic I (Novocol Pharma, Cambridge, Ontario)

Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Production Manager. This role is responsible for the repair, modification, and preventive maintenance of production and supporting equipment to ensure continuous production flow in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Shift

Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am – $3 per hour shift premium.
Weekend Night Shift: Saturday and Sunday 6 pm to 6 am; Monday, Tuesday 10 pm to 6 am – $5 per hour shift premium.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance according to SOPs and report deficiencies or unsafe working conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
