Summary The position is located in the Engineering Service at the Thomas E Creek Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The incumbent serves as the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor with full technical and administrative responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating all Engineering Maintenance Shop operations and managing a facility-wide Industrial Engineering and Efficiency Program. Responsibilities Manages a formal Engineering Efficiency and Industrial Engineering Program with facility-wide impact, including:. Conducting work measurements studies, engineering time standards, workflow optimization, and staffing utilization reviews. Applying Lean Six Sigma, System Thinking, and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency across Engineering Service.
