Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Tasks include start-up and shut-down procedures, electrical troubleshooting, and maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other systems.
Responsibilities
Assist the Maintenance Manager with all plant maintenance operations, ensuring that plant premises and equipment are kept in safe and clean condition.Contribute to building a maintenance program that optimizes the plant's uptime, considers costs, and satisfies all industry regulations and OSHA guidelines.Complete preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment, and document the work done without direct supervision.Monitor equipment to ensure it is kept in good working order and work closely with management to repair or replace equipment...
