**Job Description**
Maintenance Mechanic plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment within the production or distribution line. This position requires expertise in mechanical repair and maintenance activities, and a commitment to safety and quality procedures. The mechanic will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshoot faults, and provide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to the team.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 5 years performing maintenance in a manufacturing or distribution facility
+ Experience with maintaining conveyors and other production equipment.
+ Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and databases.
+ Experience tracking and logging maintenance procedures with CMMs.
+ PLC experience is highly preferred!
