Job Summary

As a mechanic, you are primarily responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of various systems and equipment at the Eschweiler plant.


These systems include internal mixers, rolling mills, vulcanization presses, stamping machines, conveying systems, various automation systems, as well as washing and filling equipment for the final product. In addition, you contribute to the continuous improvement of existing equipment, workflows, and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reporting and troubleshooting process disruptions

  • Carrying out, monitoring, and planning inspection and maintenance activities as well as (preventive) repair measures

  • Commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of tools, machinery, and equipment

  • Manufacturing, installation, and modification of spare and new parts
