**Job Description**
The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains a wide range of machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently by performing mechanical, electrical, and preventive maintenance tasks in a food production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Dismantle machinery and mechanical devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
+ Examine the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections and wear.
+ Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Repair or replace defective parts to restore equipment to proper operating condition.
