Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance department and provide hands-on technical leadership.
  • Manage preventative and planned maintenance programmes.
  • Coordinate breakdown response and root cause analysis.
  • Oversee boilers, steam systems, pumps, conveyors and processing equipment.
  • Manage artisans, maintenance assistants and technical specialists.
  • Control engineering stores, spare parts and maintenance budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and engineering standards.
  • Drive plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • Red Seal Millwright qualification (essential).
  • Minimum 7 years' maintenance experience within heavy industrial, food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • At least 3 years' experience leading a maintenance team.
  • Strong experience with preventative maintenance systems.
