Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance department and provide hands-on technical leadership.
- Manage preventative and planned maintenance programmes.
- Coordinate breakdown response and root cause analysis.
- Oversee boilers, steam systems, pumps, conveyors and processing equipment.
- Manage artisans, maintenance assistants and technical specialists.
- Control engineering stores, spare parts and maintenance budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and engineering standards.
- Drive plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Red Seal Millwright qualification (essential).
- Minimum 7 years' maintenance experience within heavy industrial, food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- At least 3 years' experience leading a maintenance team.
- Strong experience with preventative maintenance systems.
