About the role


We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leading Hand to manage our dedicated team of Digger and Drill specialists out at our Iron Bridge project. As the leader, you'll play a pivotal role in minimizing machine downtime, ensuring high-quality repairs, and mentoring your team to success.


In this role, you will:

  • Shift Handover & Task Status: Provide clear task updates to the Field Supervisor at shift change for smooth transitions.

  • Task Prioritization: Collaborate with the Field Supervisor to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.

  • Daily Labour Allocation: Manage daily labour assignments and ensure updates are reflected in prestart.

  • Task Monitoring: Conduct regular progress checks and provide timely updates to ensure task completion.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support team members to enhance skills and maintain productivity.
