Maintenance Foreman

The successful incumbent will be responsible for leading the maintenance team and controlling Engineering Maintenance function across all engineering disciplines, manufacturing functions, and factories within the Pinetown site. The primary areas of responsibility include engineering maintenance & projects, site services, property maintenance, and safety through leading and supervision of all artisans.

About the Role

The Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for the supervision and effective time utilization of all artisans to ensure that efficient service is provided to the departmental managers, to obtain maximum manufacturing productivity.

This will entail the responsibility to drive daily/weekly maintenance planning process for the site, prioritizing, scheduling and allocation of tasks to the team with the assistance of the Stock controller/ Maintenance Planner.
